Renewables & solar

Commercial solar and batteries, sold properly

Commercial solar is where Beda Sales started. Our reps know how the incentives work, what a three-to-six-year payback does to a CFO's decision, and why a facility manager and a CFO need two different conversations about the same system.

The sale is long, the deal is worth it, and most installers have more delivery capacity than they have pipeline. That's the gap we fill.

The one thing a rep has to know

The lead isn't the constraint. Most installers can buy leads at $185 each from a marketplace. What they can't buy is someone who turns a site visit into a signed system six months later, and who knows that a battery conversation starts with the tariff, not the panels.

The buyers

Who buys, and what they care about

  • CFO / owner

Payback period, financing, what the incentive does to the number, and what happens if the roof needs work in year four.

  • Facility manager

Downtime during install, roof access, compliance with the electrical standards, who maintains it.

  • Sustainability lead

Reported emissions reduction and whether the numbers will survive an audit.

How long the sale takes

Four to nine months from first conversation to signed system on commercial. Longer with a tender.

Where the leads come from

Commercial and industrial accounts with the roof, the load profile and the tariff to justify a system. Researched by site, not by list.

Before the first call

What our reps must know

  • How the incentive scheme is calculated and claimed
  • Payback and IRR, and how to walk a CFO through both
  • The relevant electrical standards and what they mean for a quote
  • Batteries: where the value comes from and when it doesn't stack up
  • The difference between a rooftop retrofit and a new-build spec
